Zainab Moriba is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Board-Certified in Wound Care Nurse Advanced Practice, and Certified Case Manager with 10 + years of experience with bedside care, critical care, community health, wound care, and health educator. She is a dedicated professional with a reputation for going above and beyond for her patients. She is passionate about clear communication, teamwork, and ensuring that patients and their families get the best treatment they need and deserve. Furthermore, she especially enjoys building relationships and working with people to help them reach their healthcare goals.
Here is a little more information on Zainab's background: Zainab graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Walden University. She also completed her wound care education at Emory University. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral education at Chamberlain University. Her wound care interests include caring for people with limb loss and limb differences, all types of complex wounds, including pressure injuries, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, etc., and the use of technology in wound healing.
Zainab is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the wound, ostomy and continence nursing society, and the American foot care nurse association. Welcome to the team, Zainab. We're excited to have you bring your expertise to our patients.
